If the Real Estate Taxes and Storm Water Management Utility Fees appearing on this website are more than one(1) year delinquent, please contact the Portsmouth City Treasurer's Office, 757-393-8651. These properties are eligible for "Tax Sale" , and have been assigned to Attorneys to conduct the "Bill In Equity For Sale of Delinquent Taxes" process in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 58.1-3965. Processing Cost and Fees, other than the Delinquent Taxes, and Storm Water Fees, have accrued, and are not reflected on the City's Website.
